Our story
Pasta is a 4-year-old, 65-lb golden retriever who’s been dragging me (willingly) across the country for years. Every trip started the same way: hours of Reddit threads, hotel front-desk phone calls, and a growing pile of browser tabs trying to answer one question, will they actually let my dog in?
Big dogs get treated like an afterthought in travel planning. Most pet-friendly guides are written with a 12-lb dog in mind, and quietly fall apart the moment you show up with 65 lbs of golden retriever.
So I started doing the research properly, testing hotels, routes, and destinations with Pasta myself, and Pasta Travels became the place I wished existed when we started.
Every guide and every itinerary carries the same standard: if it’s not something I’d trust with my own dog, it’s not Pasta-Approved.
